Unlimited Engine

The Unlimited Engine, originally designed for use in the IMSTEA competition, is now also used as the primary engine for the SAE competition. The engine is a Briggs and Stratton 3.5 hp block and crankshaft. The Head, camshaft, and piston are from a 50cc Honda engine. The piston was mated to the Briggs block via a half inch, cast iron, sleeve. All the cooling fins were shaved off the head and block in order to conserve heat in the engine.
