The team had a problem concerning the wind at the track. It was so strong that it blew away a sizable tent which housed the fueling and docking areas. Towards the end of the day, the team may have blown a head gasket on the unlimited car.
Results The team pulled away with a victory by a wide margin in the high school division, as well as winning the highest overall mileage in the entire competition.
